The KEE dispersed air floatation system is specifically designed for physical/chemical pre-treatment of wastewater.

KEE Microfloat®

The Microfloat removes fats, oil and grease in the pre-treatment process and therefore biological wastewater treatment greatly reduces the load for the downstream biological treatment facilities.

Using a low-power motor and a specially designed propeller disc, the KEE Microfloat® system produces extremely fine bubbles (20-50 μm). These are transferred into the water through special ejectors to pre-treat wastewater before being discharged.

The Microfloat® system reduces Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and minimises environmental pollution from wastewater.

Up to 90% of fats, oils and grease (FOG) are removed without the use of coagulants and polymers.

The need for fine screens is eliminated either before or after Microfloat® systems and is ideal for industrial applications requiring FOG and light contaminates removal.
