The DC module range is optimised for carbonaceous BOD removal and the DN module range is optimised for Nitrification and/or total Nitrogen removal and Phosphorus reduction. As they are easy to install and highly efficient, KEE Process RBC Modules offer the most cost-effective answer for treatment of larger flows with total flexibility for design and onsite layout. These modules can replace or supplement existing, overloaded biological treatment stages in domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
Treatment for populations of up to 750 PE (persons equivalent) within a single factory-built module, with larger flows for up to 5000 PE are covered by the installation of multiple factory built RBC modules.
The Glass fibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP) casing is designed as a structural element for both aboveground or underground installation and can withstand hydrostatic and ground pressures. It has sectional, lightweight GRP removable cover sections with easy access to bearings and motor for maintenance. Viewing hatches are incorporated in the sectional GRP cover sections.
The RBC is driven by a direct coupled geared motor, giving extremely low power demand and is virtually silent and odour free.
